Senior Scrapbook 2025

1 May by Gwendolyn Agee

Dear Dance Families,

It’s that time! We are putting together scrapbooks for each senior and we need your help.

It is a tradition at Lake Shore Dance to celebrate the accomplishments of our senior dancers as they graduate high school and our dance program while sending them off to their next phase in life with the love and support of their dance family. Some of our seniors have been with us for a few years, while others began dancing with us as toddlers. The connections and memories these dancers have made throughout the years create strong bonds with their fellow dancers and instructors.

Send off our Seniors with love and support by creating a page for the seniors you know. Maybe you see them in the hallway between classes or have watched them perform in your favorite dance, or maybe they are your classmates you see twice a week in dance classes. Perhaps they are your dancer’s classroom assistant, instructor, competition team choreographer, or private lesson instructor. Or perhaps, they are one of your best friends you grew up with that you see daily. No matter your relationship with these dancers, their last weeks in our studio walls are approaching. Let’s show our seniors all the love we can!

Here is what to do:
Use any 8.5 × 11-inch paper. That is the size of the book pages.
Write out a message to all the seniors you know. Make sure you state their name and sign your name. Anyone can do this, not just the dancers! Parents/guardians/and fellow seniors are welcome too!
You can decorate your paper any way you want. Add pictures, quotes, or just a letter. Pages will be in a scrapbook sleeve.
Turn in your paper to your front desk by *
Thursday, May 22**. The scrapbooks will be presented at the Graduation Ceremonies at the Spring performance.
