Dear parents-
In light of today’s situation in our school districts, we needed to reach out and let you know that we intend to keep our studios open for classes this evening. We know and acknowledge that our dancers and families have experienced a dramatic incident that have many different emotional responses. As dancers and educators, we have seen that in times of crisis , some children may crave the comfort their regular schedule provides and the escape that dance can create. We know all students to will have their own ways of dealing with, addressing, and processing the day’s events and students may choose to stay home from dance today if that is what is best for them.

If your child will stay home and you are able to, please enter their absence in the parent portal so we can plan for changes and adjustments if needed.

Our teachers have been made aware of the situation and we have advised them to give class as usual, but plan to be flexible and compassionate to the students needs.
